D. 9. September er Nordiske Musikdage værter for en international konference om Publikumsudvikling / Publikumsengagement.
Vi har inviteret kunstnere, musiklærere, koncert arrangører, festivalledere alle som har en interesse i hvilken rolle Audience engagement spiller i kunstneriske såvel som uddannelses projekter. Har man ikke fået meldt sig til kan man alligevel blande sig i debatten på Facebook, hvor Heather Maitland har skrevet et indlæg:
”Does niche audience always mean small audience? “Most of us want to present at least some arts events that stretch our audiences and ourselves. That means we depend on audiences who are willing to follow us into the unknown. But does that mean our audiences will always be small and select?”
